Romanian city , Cluj Napoca won he competition for European youth capital of 2015 , after a bidding process in which they beat in final Vilinius ( Lithuania) , Varna ( Bulgaria) and Ivanovo ( Russia).
This title is awarded by European Youth Forum, EYF since 2009 . Previous capitals was Rotterdam (Netherlands) , Torino( Italy) ,Anvers( Belgium) , Braga ( Portugal) , Maribor (Slovenia) and Thessaloniki (Greece).
Cluj-Napoca is one of the most important economic and cultural center in Romania, is the second large city in country and first in Transylvania region.
